Niocom seems serious to make an Android-based pico projector. The company want to provide something different in the pico projector line using the Android Operating System. Will appear in America in second quarter this year with pico projector with their MemoryKick Vision device.
The technology used may be similar to the prototype PicoP projector from Microvision and it is expected to come with better specifications. 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, 500GB up to 1TB of storage space, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, HDMI In and Out, an SD memory card slot, USB slot and Android 2.2 as a System Operation. Compared with pico projector on the market today Niocom Adroid projector seem better and make it easier to always connect to the network or the Internet. Support Android is expected to provide easy access to the Android Market. There no word on price yet, but Niocom will provide the range of $ 500.
